I watched an incredibly visual and intellectually stimulating movie last night, which turned out not like I expected at all. INK is a story about dream to reality crossovers, battles between good and evil, and the redemption of one man. Pretty standard stuff and pretty standard thought, until the movie starts. The first 5 to 10 minutes are practically voiceless, with a lot of sound, a lot of interesting photo elements, but very little speaking. I was thinking "Hmm... Japanese" Didn't know if I was going to like it or not.
Now, I won't, will not, go into any details about the movie. If figured it was going to be sort of a Gang related movie, or maybe a movie about tatoos. I dunno. But... nope. It's a movie about good stuff and I cried at the end of it.
It's available for free, sorta, on Netflix. I give it a 4 okiedokes out of 5 okiedokes. A movie will only get 5 okiedokes if I go sorta nuts over it and can't talk for 4 to 5 minutes afterwards. Like that'll ever happen.
