There's even more stuff on Turkey mountain. Apparently, back long ago, some folks walked the hills and found Petroglyphs... runic signs chiseled in to the wall of the cliffs there. I definitely want to go back there and do a bit more looking round'.

Here's a small write up on a blog I found on Turkey Mountain's Facebook account. Yes. Turkey mountain is on Facebook. *Sigh*

And another little gem. This fellow, Clay Holder, rides the trails on his mountain bike. This amazes me because I just don't see how he does it and keep a set of testicles. NOT for the faint of heart, for sure and true. I highly recommend his website as he is also a fairly distinguished photographer of nature.

Yes, sis. I am a lucky duck, for sure. I now have someone to go places with, who has a wicked sense of humor, laughs easily, and wants to go, go, go! How cool is that?
