Here's pictures! I didn't take all that I wanted, cuz my goofy camera ran out of room. I still had pictures of Hartland 2008 and the Sapulpa RodFest from last month and I just couldn't delete them. Fredricksburg, the Alamo, Galveston proper and the Con pictures will have to wait for another trip.
If you click the 'View All' Button, you can see the photos in MY Order, rather than Photobuckets, and read my comments. Some pictures have tiny details in them, and you can see what I'm talking about better.

Date: 2009-07-01 08:21 pm (UTC)The Johnson ranch... wow, reminded me TONS of a place where i grew up. Ever heard of William B. Ide? Dood, look him up. Part of California history, that man, and he lived in my hometown. Had a little adobe house there, which of course is part of our history there. Adobe isn't the same sort of building material the Johnson's used, but the look is similar. And the quilts have the same kind of feel to them. *grin* What is it about us and quilts, i ask you? Something in our bones? *sighs happily* I guess really it is a thing we need not define, so long as we acknowledge it, aye?
Anyway, i'm still looking at these pictures, they are sooo wonderful, and the way you tagged them.... *laughing at the picture of your belly and wet shoes with texican nature all over you* You slay me, my dear! I wanna travel all over the place with you and listen to you making comments and taking pictures and explaining everything. (((( huuuuugs )))))
