Making cookies.

See, there I was, in the kitchen, making peanut butter cookies and I got to the end of the recipe and went, "Huh. This looks more like cake batter than cookie dough."
I checked the recipe, and ran a cyclical redundancy check on my memory and I had gotten all the ingredients put in, in the right order and in the right amounts.
The only one I had wonders about was the white sugar. Everything else checked off nicely, except the white sugar, so I walked over to my sideboard and stared at the White Sugar canister, expecting it to answer me. And it did. It said, "You don't remembered that you noticed the way the sugar crumbled as you spooned it into the measuring cup?"
Well, of course I did, after a moment and a visual replay. So all parts were accounted for.
Still... I added a tablespoon of flour and another quarter teaspoon of B. powder. I thought about adding some cinnamon, but I don't know how that reacts with peanut butter. Probably explosively. I might have to try it just to see.
It's a bit more crumbly, like cookie dough, but still has me wondering. So, I baked up a quick half dozen. They look like puffs rather than cookies. I wonder how they taste. I'll let 'em cool and try one, I reckon. If I post again, it didn't kill me.
See, this is all a distraction to me to keep me from smoking and also to keep me from writing a rant about relationships, cuz if I start off on that topic, it will end poorly.
And that's all I really got to say about that. Gonna go shower and try my peanut puffballs.
