I think... I feel... it is time for a bonfire.

I'm excited and interested in all the doings of my friends. 'Specially since I don't have a thing going on. Just work and home. I guess I'm going to have to write Sid, so I can get past it. That particular story seems to be in the way of me doing any other writing, and there's November coming up. At least just a few chapters, anyway. Maybe that will clear the block.

Does any one else miss Capi? Hope she's doing well.

Monk's 100th case is on right now. I'm listening and watching while I write. I've decided that House has become as more an ass than he was when he started. I don't even think I like him any more.

I'm adjusting to my new specs. It's weird. My eyes actually look at the same thing at the same time, rather than just being left eye oriented. Makes the world just seem... odd. It's just... odd.

Anyway, I'm just babbling. I guess it's so I don't lose touch with the LJ folks. Hope your night is going well and those you love are nearby, or as nearby as they can be. I'm gonna go finish Monk.

I miss capi! If only she'd stand still long enough for a hug :)

House is a good illustration of what happens when id and ego are too far out of balance and super ego is left with the chore of beating them both back to "even". I adore Hugh Laurie but the show has lost its way quite a bit. (Yes, I did cry for Wilson and Amber on the season finale this past season)

I cried for Wilson as well - silly what sort of things get trigged by an imaginary character's loss. As for Hugh Laurie, I actually had a Fry and Laurie vinyl, many years ago. I think it was called "Fry and Laurie - losing their heads"

I have all the episodes of Fry and Laurie in .avi format! I know so few people who are familiar with the random things I love...

I too was empathetic with Wilson's plight last May. Though I thought last season was a bit off, I will most probably give it another chance this season. It's sucha good show, I don't want to abandon it in a downtime and miss when it shoots back up...

I does! I like those big ol' marshmallows that flare up like meteors, and I prefer to roast them on a steek. A steek has a bit more old world charm than those metal fork thingies.

*sigh* A bonfire and a river. If only it was legal.

I miss bonfires on the beach, too. One of those things you get used to living near the ocean and miss when you move.

Beach? No... I mean back before there were carbon emmissions and legal restrictions about setting your neighbor on fire, my brothers and I used to go down to the crick and spend a happy weekend naked, dancing round the fire, sacrificing marshmallows and cans of baked beans to the woodland Gods. Kinda of like Lord of the Flies, without the pig.

That number, in case you need it, is 277 8813. I figured you know the area code. And, I don't give it out to just everybody, just special people in my life. If I don't answer the first time, leave a message so I'll know it's you. I will call you back as soon as I'm available to do so.

Silly niece. Love you bunches.
