But see.. there's just something that's just so.. almost innocent about it without the strip becoming smarmy. I haven't seen any groaners, no sight gags per se. It's just the story of a simple family as it moves from day to day. A fairly normal family that I've grown to just adore. Adore?, you ask. Yep.. adore. Perhaps there are moments when the curmudgeon prefers the soft fresh sent of Downy(tm), after all.
