... Now... I know it's the traditional pub night and all, but Bags is feeling poorly, Griz may not feel like getting out, and it's just cold and icky out. I know, cold and icky? What are you talking aboot, Pockyboy? Well, see... the first cold and WET day is always the worst for me. Granted, ALL cold and wet days are no fun for me, as they always make me feel cold and wet. Like I cannot heat up, regardless of the fuel that I stick in my tummy. The first is always the worst. And it rhymes. sorta.

I'm wishing for a fireplace, I'm wishing for Hot Cocoa, I'm wishing for a happy night. Seeing as it's cold, wet, got no fireplace, and happy is in the heart of the beholder, I'll settle for hot cocoa.

I didn't go to Octoberfest, which means I may be in dutch with my monkey twin, but seriously... COLD? WET? Ick.

I might stay in tonight, just cuz... well... cold... wet...

Ok, you just answered the question I asked. Hell, if you wanna come over here and we'll put a fire in the fireplace and make hot chocolate and watch Bruce putz around with new lap-top, that's fine with me!

I appreciate that offer Susi, that I do. Now, if the leaves had all changed, and the air had that crispy sort of burning leave smell that I love in the air, and if it was more than just me (it's that insecurity I have, you know), you bet I'd be on my way in a few hours. Tonight is more a hunker-in sorta night to me. I'll probably stay in, make cocoa, look up a couple of recipes, maybe make a cake and see if I can find a comedy somewhere to watch.

It is and I do understand and the offer stands for another night when it's crisp and chill.

It's indeed a hunker-down night.

I'm fixing meat-loaf roll-up (with ham and swiss in the middle) and maybe even some hot cocoa later. I'm in a mood to make some apple crisp but have no apples, doggonit.

Love you muchly, brother dear.

Aarrrrggh! Now, see... an hour ago I was craving Meatloaf! With ham and swiss to boot. I think I definitely need to break this hermit thing I get into, as that sounds wonderful. Darling Sis, I think that we are, indeed, growing closer.

Yes, yes... another night. Besides, I think we were going to have a conversation about business or something. And I want to take you to this incredibly charming coffee house in Bixby. AND I want to introduce you to The Brew, which is on Main and Dallas in BA. Not for the coffee, there, but for the Poster posting. (Yeah... I forgot to pick any up.)

The Coffee house in Bixby, called Goodies roasts and mills their own beans. AND they also import teas, and we're not talking tea bags. I think you'd find it a rather interesting place. Also for posting posters.

Also, I'm looking for a shirt to wear when I show up as Pockets. Now, since we three do come from another planet, it only has to be middling period, but Bags does believe it should be close and I agree.

For trousers, he suggested woolen, tied off at the knee or there abouts. Sort of a Steam Punk meets the Elizabethan era sort of thing. Considering the story content, I think that fits and makes for an interesting mix.

Hmmm... Your offer is still perking in my head. I will take you up on the next offer, for sure and true. Enough of my self-imposed hermitage. It's time I started to socialize and break that silly insecurity.

You've no need to feel insecure around us,dearheart...you know that. Mi casa, su casa.

Woolen trousers is a good idea. I should send you my costume guidelines, there's a great pic in there of exactly what you're describing. Remind me and I'll bring it next Pub night to show you. Shirt something like this?

Yes. That is pretty much what I was seeing in my mind.

You have pictures in your costume guidelines? Then please, bring it along, or maybe I'll swing out next week and just pick up a copy and kidnap you for your stress break.

Never ordered from them but that's good to know. It was just the first link that google had when I put in "poet's shirt" however, that shirt is *not* a poet's shirt but rather a basic renshirt. *shakes head*

Ah well...
