I'm a thinking of Woodward Park, near the Rose Garden, the Arboretum (yes, Tulsa has one), Philbrook... places like that. I'm thinking of a weekend in October, and I need input so I can actually ask for the day off, as I get done with work at 6 pm, too late for daytime howdy-do stuff. A Saturday would be wonderful, as most folks do that Mon-Fri thing, and it would allow time for some of our out of town Family to maybe join us.

See, Pubs and Bars and Restaurants are nice and all, but don't you think sometimes it would be good to just lay down a blanket, stretch your feet out and just watch the kids and squirrels play with their nuts? Wait... umm... you know what I mean.

Anyway, just thinking bout Family. Lots. Tons. In fact, I'm crazy thinking bout you. Course, that could be a much shorter sentence.

Ideas are muchly appreciated. Comments are greatly desired. You know... the usual sort of things.

I think a picnic would be lovely particularly if it was on a day like today. Warm but not hot, breezy but not windy... kites, frisbees, food, people Sure wish I lived closer :)

And Damn, wouldn't it be wonderful if we had a fund where we could fly such a distinguished person as yourself in for the weekend, just because we love you? I wished you lived closer, too, Doc. I truly do.

So do I, that way we could spoil you rotten with hugs and healthy treats and stuff.

*sigh*

We can't do weekends until, well, until well after the weather will not be nice for picnics. Durnit. Maybe next year we'll be more free in the fall; who knows.

And that, my dear dimpled little sister, is why I suggested a weekend in October. Maybe if there is enough time consideration, you might, maybe, make it? You and Gavin? And who ever else in the family that might want to come?

Is this a job related thing, or do I have to come slay a dragon? I would, you know. Just for you.

Geeze...I had no idea. Can you leave the housekeys under the mat? I'll feed the cats! ;-)

Yeah, that's how our schedule normally works, unfortunately.

You should see Spring!

*sigh* And it's a good thing that the cats have a 3 day feeder and the dogs have a bin 'cause we can't leave keys sitting around anywhere. We don't know the current where-abouts of the evil step-son.

Well hell. When is the NEXT weekend off for you folks? December? You know, we do have some warm days in December. This may be why the talk of the next Wargarrbl campout is set for something like February.

You know what? I'm not going anywhere. I'll be here when you come back. THEN we can celebrate! I think a nice do absolutely weekend for you folks would be wonderful thing. No cooking, no cleaning, being waited on hand and foot by the family that loves you. Yeah... I can see that. It would be like a "End of the Season" sort of thing. If there is such a thing.

Besides, it's just an idea. I have a feeling it WILL come to pass, in Time and Tide.

The very first weekend we have available is November 1 & 2 but with the first FalC gig the next weekend, I'm predicting that I'll be bat-shit crazy that weekend.

The next weekend we have free is Thanksgiving, but there's been a bit of talk about having a White Hart family Thanksgiving later in that weekend.

So far as I know right now, we have nothing in December.

This month would be hard for me, but I can show up after 6 pm on the weekend. Not a big deal, but I'll miss being all relaxed and just spending the day.

But, let's look at that, shall we? Let's pass around the idea of doing something in... say... a week and a half? Maybe this weekend?
