I went out to the Rivers Edge Bistro today, just to see what's what. It was closed at 4 pm, but there was a hand drawn sign on the wall that read "Wed Night will open Midnight @ 7:30" Which I took to mean they would open at Midnight until 7:30. OR... it could mean that they would be open from 7:30 to Midnight on Wednesdays.

It looks like a neat place from what pictures I've seen and the reviews I've read about it. I think, however it bears a bit more investigation before crowning it worthy of our gang.

The grounds were fairly small, but there was a nice walk down to the river. There are also bicycles that can be used for FREE, provided by St. Francis. It takes a credit card to unlock them from the bike rack, however.

As the weather cools off, I think it is a place to certainly consider. Maybe even a picnic sort of spot.

As for tonight, I'm pretty flexible. You point, I'll go. I know there's one vote for PB, even tho it's generally to noisy or crowded for some. There's also that mexican place out on 51 highway, just a few miles past 81st street... I forget what it's called, but they do serve beer and margaritas and have an outdoor patio. Other than that, I have no opinion. I'm just glad to be alive.

Just checked with hubby (and reminded him) that he'd said we're going over to his oldest daughter and SIL's house to see the new grandbaby!

Yep, so don't count on us for tonight...dogginit.
