Alco magnets running rear wheel... regeneration on front wheel. Possible airfoil turbines for secondary generation. Who makes it? If not, then design and construct.

How about a spinning rare earth magnet (triggered by the passage of a rare earth magnet on a spoke) next to a coil that charges a small cap that drives a high intensity LED?

That might work, but might be a bit inconvenient on the spoke, plus the incident of passage would cause a distinctive flicker of output with the distance between spokes. I was thinking of a disk type concept (magnets, coil) on the hub of the front wheel. Divided magnet disk on the wheel hub itself, stator on the wheel post. Faster rotation rate closer to the hub would generate more consistent output.

Not quite mad anymore, actually. Just making notes. Was thinking about making a motor for my bike, and realized that the batteries would need to be charged.
