Here's the deal with the bread. When I was attempting to make my dough, the bread maker walked off the shelf it was setting on. A little vibration and off it went, tumbling dough, flour, and all to the floor. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I was not a happy man. But rather than toss it all away, waste not, want not, you know, I scooped up up and tossed it back into the bread maker. I put it on a LARGER shelf and let it make my dough. Then I dropped it into my loaf pan for a final rise, tossed it into the oven and baked it.
For too long. The crust is pretty tough, but it came out just fine, all in all. Now that I've done it once, I know I can do it again, and next time, even better.
