And now, she's home - Linda Update
May. 2nd, 2007 01:25 pmWent to the Eureka Springs hospital at 7 45 this am, and collected Linda. Went pretty well, all in all. They have her on an anti-psychosis/anti anxiety med. According to the meds sheet, it's called risperdal. I haven't gone checking for side effects or anything like that, as I've been doing house maintenance here for just a bit, and running back to the hospital to pick up meds that were forgotten and to drop of perscriptions and things like that there.
In short, busy morning. Least I got 7 hours sleep. Least she's home again. She's sleeping right now, and is still having moments of feeling like the world isn't quite straight. She watched a few moments of The Night Stalker on the SciFi (Skiffie - you think it's peanut butter, but it's not) channel, but the things on it were too close to what she was seeing when she wasn't here that she couldn't watch it. So... we changed to music videos, which to me were just as bad.
Interesting thing... her talking about how the non-real world sorta faded in at the fringes is something I experience almost all the time.
Anyway... she's home, we'll see how it all goes.
