Lessee... forgive me father, it's been 10 days since my last posting. Yeah, prolific I ain't right now. Here's the scoop.

Linda, for those keeping track, is home and relatively sane, though there are issues at work there that may drive her crazy. Her legs atrophied a bit, but with exercise, she's getting her strength back. With the help of a walker and a wheelchair, both of which were less expensive than we thought, she may be able to get out of the house and enjoy some of the great country side. I'm greatly encouraged, as she seems to be better now than before she went into the hospital, though her time there did give me some great notes on other dimensions. I'm hoping she continues to improve, so she and I can go traveling a bit when I'm up there.

Her son, Bobby, has a great job at the Onyx Cave up there. He's the guy that you meet when you go in, he's the guy you meet when you go out. He also works at the Passion Play. Started out at the guy that spotlights Jesus as he goes swinging up into the trees.

I kinda wonder... what sort of insurance would a theater company have against dropping Jesus? Would Lloyds of London insure him against becoming a fallen angel?

Robin, the daughter is... Robin. She was very helpful when I was there. She just doesn't quite understand about other folk's ailments and how to steer a wheelchair correctly without damaging the person.

I've been trying to write, really I have. I'm just kinda... brain tired.

Star made it back to KC with her parents stuff, which is a relief. It must be pretty hard traveling cross country, even half a country, toting a 20 foot truck with a 10 foot trailer. Right now they're doing family stuff, which is good. Still, there's bound to be some emotional whiplash leaving everything from the land where you were born. Even if it is California. I'm glad she's back. I missed her quite a bit.

I got a call tonight from my friend, Darla, who lives in Panama. Panama, Oklahoma. Yep... it's there. Her father committed suicide successfuly yesterday. He had been suffering from Diabetes and his blood sugar had dropped too low. His legs were giving him incredible pain and he decided to just take the short train and recycle early. If that sounds crass, I'm sorry. If I were in his situation, I'm not so sure I wouldn't want to go that way. Quick and messy beats slow and lingering anyday. Darla, for what it's worth, was expecting something to happen. It didn't come as a great surprise, but still there's the pain of loss and the sadness.

By the way, if anyone is ever near Panama, Ok, you might stop in at their collectables shop. Also, look to the south. There is a hill there called Cavenaugh Hill. It's officially a mountain, because of it's size. It didn't used to be. It used to be a hill. If you've ever seen the movie, "The man who went up a hill and came down a mountain", this is the REAL place. The movie makers put it over the big pond simply because Oklahoma isn't classy enough or exotic enough or something. Anyway, it's about 30 or so miles from the Heavener Rune stone, which is also a cool place to go visit.

And that's the news for right now. My brain feels a bit better. Maybe it was just constipated. I'll be back tomorrow, and maybe get a bit more fantasy stuff written.

Capi, don't worry. I'm ok. I'm glad the play went well!
