Pubbing last night

joegodaRegardless of Sherry and I feeling like our lungs have been dipped in hot tar, then treated to an acid wash, THEN steam pressed, we made it to PB last night. Not a bad night, all in all. Sherry brought her husband Ken, Katie, also known as huggle-bunni was there... first timer! And Charity, also known as bearlylady was there as well. Relatively quiet night, considering that the music came and went. The people were not the usual Thursday night crowd. Less of a meat market, I think. Tim noticed one woman who seemed hell bent on NOT leaving the place alone. I didn't get a very good look at her, but unless she was mentally deranged (something that I believe is possible in all humans), I find it hard to understand why some knuckle draggin' fool didn't join her when she left. I mean, after all... testosterone tends to cloud the brain, and this is Oklahoma.
I'm thinkin that a trip to the Riverwalk down in Jenks should pop up in the future. The nights are acquiring that lovely fall smell and there are some very cool places to just sit outside and sip whatever you want (coffee, tea, or alcohol) and watch the river go by, love on your family and reflect how truly lucky we are to have each other in our lives.
