Hmm.. must be a regional thing. Sometimes when making an off hand comment, I've seen the back of the hand scratched, imaginary lint being picked off a lapel, a tie being straightened, a collar being straightened, and sort of small comments that say "I connect with you". Never thought of any of them being prickly, though.

I'm thinking a semi-colon instead of a period after "you're right" -- maybe even a colon. My brain won't tell me! works for me. In the dialog I heard in my head, Wells paused before he said the "You're right." which would have justified the period, but semi colon works to.
As for the last two comments, Thanks! and you're right! That's why you are my most invaluable resource, my honing block. Thanks Capi! Hope you are doing well, and continue to do so.
