James Michael Beebe, Aug 23, 1959 to Sept 23, 2004. Never be gone, always be missed.
Tonight was a great night at PB. PotBelly's for those who don't read initals. Layle and Ms. Tami came to visit and a very, very good time was had by all. My brother James, always the teatotaller, would have loved it, even with the Bushmills. He would have loved the toast, he would have loved the humor.
Tonight wasn't for him. He passed away yesterday, two years ago. Tonight was a toast to all those who have lost someone, anyone, that they were close to, relatives, friends, family, pets. It was a night of Just Cuz. Just Cuz it needed to be be done.
If I was more sober, I probably wouldn't have written this, but as it is, I feel better than I have in months. Bushmills is just the cure for a small lizard that hides in the chest. I may have to do more.
BTW, any one who reads this is invited to a night at PB. It's not just a Griz, Bags and Pockets thing. We love company, and thanks to Rev Layle and Ms. Tami who made it an extra special night.
