Just listened to the latest Wil Shatner album, and I gotta tell you, it just rocks! Funny, serious, insightful... I thought I was gonna be making fun of it, but from the first cut to the last, I laughed, I thought, I even shed a bit of a tear. It was just darn good. Granted, he's not a singer, but then, I don't think he sang a single bar on the whole damned thing. The last cut.. Real.. was pretty darned good. Now, I didn't really like Has Been all that much, but what the hey.. I don't have to.. I'm not a big country fan.
It's a good album for over sensitive realistic sardonic cynics like me, and if you sit and wonder if the world has any reality left to it at all.... check it out. William Shatner, my hat goes off to you, you funny funny man. I'll never hear the word "Engage" the same way. Ok.. so it's not your line.. but who cares! I'll still never hear it the same way.
Keep on trucking, Will.. I understand you're older than Willie Nelson? Works, man, it works.. Keep on truckin.
