joegodaThere's gonna be a brief break between this and whatever the heck happens next. I'm torn between being just a normal poster for a while and trying something new. I know that the rest wouldn't hurt my wrists any, though I still can't seem to stop writing... just now I'm catchin up on emails and such.
There's an old story I always wanted to write.. a mystery staring my favorite character, Justin Stone. He's what I call a Rational Sociopath, because he chooses to lead a life of quiet calm, causing no harm.
He becomes embroiled in a mystery surrounding a crystal that was carved in the 1300's by a Monk near Constatinople (Tim will correct any historical errors, I'm sure... Love ya, chum!). The crystal has an induced flaw in it, such that when the sunlight is directed to it at the proper angle, a three dimensional image of the madonna and child appear.
It was sent to Pope Innocent VI as a gift, but the caravan it was on was attacked, the artifact stolen, only to find it's way into rumors and legend.
Centuries later, it turns up, among murder and death to haunt the insatiable curiosity of Justin Stone.
and, of course, there's always more Village Stories. There's the journey of Pockets. There's stories and stories and OH my children, stories beyond stories!
Till the mind settles and comes to rest upon the next chapter of the first story, here's a thought.. from the movie KPAX, staring Kevin Spacey:
"We on KPAX have discoverd that the Universe will expand and contract, expand and contract, and it will do this again and again, forever. And everytime it expands all the things that are happening now, will be repeated. Every mistake you make will be repeated, over and over. So this time, make sure you get it right, because this time... is all you have."
