One word. Okay... two. Burial Insurance.

Mom took care of everything, 12 years ago. Plot, headstone, casket, services, what will be written be on the stone... everything.

Mom takes care of us even after she's gone. How incredibly cool is that? If you don't have it, look into it. Makes your passing, which happens to most, if not all of us, so much easier on those left behind. At least, think about it, okay? It's important.

I saw your initial post over the weekend, but wasn't able to reply just then. Wanted to send huge hugs your way and to let you know you're in my thoughts. Your mom sounds like an amazing lady. :)

my mom was a wonderful mother, but really and truly a pain in the ass as a parent. She was amazing, for sure, and I will miss the mom I remember best.
