One word. Okay... two. Burial Insurance.

Mom took care of everything, 12 years ago. Plot, headstone, casket, services, what will be written be on the stone... everything.

Mom takes care of us even after she's gone. How incredibly cool is that? If you don't have it, look into it. Makes your passing, which happens to most, if not all of us, so much easier on those left behind. At least, think about it, okay? It's important.

I know that is a great relief to you and Sam. I was worried.

From my point of view, it's a pretty darn incredible thingy. We figured we'd at least have to buy a stone, but nooooo. Mom did everything, including the inscription on the rock. Silly ol' mom. Now if I could just find her pizza recipe.

Ah, resolution. I'm sorry for your sadness, dear, but happy that everything is taken care of. Bless your heart.

And Star's mother also passed today...not a good Monday.

*hugs*

Bless Star's heart. I know she's broken about it and so is her dad. Her mom was a pretty darn incredible lady, and I liked her a lot.

It's been an unusually active month, already for sure.

Yes indeed, she was. I have lots of wonderful memories of her to help keep her alive. I'm quite concerned that her father will follow along very soon.

...lots of sadness and upheaval right now. All we can do is to try to balance that with lots of loving, understanding and caring.

I saw your initial post over the weekend, but wasn't able to reply just then. Wanted to send huge hugs your way and to let you know you're in my thoughts. Your mom sounds like an amazing lady. :)

my mom was a wonderful mother, but really and truly a pain in the ass as a parent. She was amazing, for sure, and I will miss the mom I remember best.

Thanks, dear. You just keep those boys of yours growing and healthy. That way you honor all who has gone before.

My grandmother took care of everything too. She's not dead yet, but it's nice to know it's already planned and paid for.

Love.

That is a very smart deal, actually. Mom wasn't rich by any stretch of the imagination. She paid for everything over 5 years. Silly ol' mom. I always misjudged her.
