Indiana Trip Pictures!

Okay.. here they are. No.. here! Now, I didn't do any touch up, and I only deleted about 4 of them, so these are just like I took 'em in the order I took 'em.
Click on 'em to start the slideshow with descriptions. Heck, you folk probably know more about this thing than I do. And I'm pretty tired and I'm going to bed. Night all. Enjoy the show.

THAT WAS GREAT!!

You know what? Your childhood places and my childhood places have a LOT in common. Like silos, and swimming, and brick buildings with very similar fronts, and even the fire escapes!, and family reunions in parks, and swimming, and elementary schools made of brick, and even the scenery!

I loved listening to you ramble about all that stuff, and if i ever took you to MY childhood town, it would be all the same! We don't grow corn so much, we grow cows and sheeps. *LOL* We used to have lumber mills, but that all went belly-up some time ago. But our wee towns look remarkably alike. I took pictures around my town in the middle '70's, and many of those buildings are now gone. If my scanner only worked.... *LOL*

So.... how did you get a pic of you and Simon on the bed? I mean, BOTH of you are in the picture!!

*grin*

Your Jewish silo also made me laugh. YOu are always doing that, you know. Making me laugh. Thank you.

I've been able to post some old, old pictures by taking a photograph of them, like the Userpic here. Some don't turn out well, like the one of my grandfather and mother. Too much red, too much blue. I think it's just the lighting.

As for me and Simon, I could say that I wasn't alone, but of course I was. It was the timer on the camera. And I took that picture just for you, cuz you always say you want a picture of me somewhere in there.

I guess childhood towns in a given generation, especially when the backgrounds of the people are the same, will look very similar. I do want to go back, but next time it won't be as a returning son, it'll just be as a tourist. Crawfordsville is pretty neat and there are some very nice spots to just sit and be.

Glad you liked 'em, Lil Sis!
