I was thinking it might be too wet for Ol' Pockets to get out tomorrow, as he absolutely hates tromping around in mud up to his ankles. So tell me true, lady blue... how bad does it get? Really and truly? Cuz if I hear that it's perfectly all right, just a tad wet and nothing to be worried about just wear boots you don't care about, then I'll be there.

April, I may not be able to be woken that early, so I may just drive out and pay the price for a ticket. However, if I do wake up, what time are you folks waking up so I can text you that I'm on my way. Such is the life of me...

Aw.. heck with it... if I let my fears keep me back, then I'll always let my fears keep me back. What's the best footwear for this sort of thing? Swamp boots?

Secondly... Thanks to Sherry, my Grizzy Fitz, I have submitted The City of Tears - A Bags and Pockets adventure to a group called Crossed Genres. Who knows what will become of it, but hey, at least it's out there. I may even send 'em one of those other books I've written.

The paths are for the most part gravel, so there's not a lot of mud-sloshing that *must* be done...

That's good enough for me! Thanks, Bruce. Oh... and thanks for that plug during your WanderRadio interview. Nice interview, by the way.

I'm planning on being up at the ungodly hour of 6. Question is will I actually get up then?

I don't know if I would wear your cool microfiber boots out...I think they might not handle the wet so well. I personally wish I could wear my big ole' rubber galoshes, but no such luck.

Maybe... but honey, can you think of a faster way to give them that weather'd look? I was thinking about waterproofing them, anyway. Maybe slathering lard on them, or something. *KIDDING* *sorta*

Mother and I have decided that we will do whatever we need to to make sure you're there and not miserable. So come on out! As for boots... I'm not particularly kind to any of my footwear, so I'm not a good judge...

I'm sorry?? Did you say whatever? I'm partial to chicken fried steak!

Not to worry... I will be there and I will not be miserable. Heck, I can be happy as a hog in the middle of a thunderstorm if I'm with the right people, and you ARE the right people.

Now.. where the heck is the Soup Kitchen located in that place?

2 things

1. We are indeed going to rock the place tomorrow.

The Third because 2 is hiding. From the gate, take the path to Somers field (aka the maypole) Look to your left past a stage, and an obsticle course then the soup kitchen, and the jail.

If you so wish a guided tour, that can most likely be arranged.

We'll see, honey. I re-read the story today and it needs a bit of a re-write, but still and all, it reads like a second re-write. Maybe it'll get somewhere... who knows.

I'll pass your hello to EVERY one tomorrow. I'm goin... I just don't know what time yet.

Thanks Mom, it was great to see you too! And it's pretty darn generous of you, considering I was as much help as mud shoes on a polar bear. Next Weekend, I'll have my wits about me and will be able to actually help out.
