Weekend picnic? Anyone?
I'm a thinking of Woodward Park, near the Rose Garden, the Arboretum (yes, Tulsa has one), Philbrook... places like that. I'm thinking of a weekend in October, and I need input so I can actually ask for the day off, as I get done with work at 6 pm, too late for daytime howdy-do stuff. A Saturday would be wonderful, as most folks do that Mon-Fri thing, and it would allow time for some of our out of town Family to maybe join us.
See, Pubs and Bars and Restaurants are nice and all, but don't you think sometimes it would be good to just lay down a blanket, stretch your feet out and just watch the kids and squirrels play with their nuts? Wait... umm... you know what I mean.
Anyway, just thinking bout Family. Lots. Tons. In fact, I'm crazy thinking bout you. Course, that could be a much shorter sentence.
Ideas are muchly appreciated. Comments are greatly desired. You know... the usual sort of things.

*sigh*
We can't do weekends until, well, until well after the weather will not be nice for picnics. Durnit. Maybe next year we'll be more free in the fall; who knows.
