About a week ago I mentioned that I sent an email to Jonathon Coulton about this conceptual stage musical I have stuck in my head that is based upon his music.

He replied.

Hey Chester,

It has come up before, and a few people have created treatments and outlines and such, but as far as I know there's no full-blown musical anywhere. But sure, have at! Of course we'd have to work out some sort of "deal" if money ever became involved, but that's a bridge to be crossed much later obviously...

I suspect the pubbin' will be an outdoor thing, so more than likely the River. I'm thinking bout checking out the River's Edge Bistro and Cafe... it's just south of 15th and Riverside. It's all outdoor dining, nothing fancy. Sandwiches, salads, nachos... stuff like that. It's very kid friendly, since it's right in the River Parks area, and there is Live Music there as well. I think I may have mentioned it a couple of times having jazz there, but I don't know.

Of course, it will be up to the Pubmeister, but I may just wander down to Rivers Edge just to see what's up.
