In unrelated news...

I was thinking about that "interview me" thing that was running around, and, I suppose, still is. I dunno... are there enough people that really want to know more about me? In fact, are there people that want to know anything about me? Huh. Tell you what. If you want to ask me, feel free. I answer just pretty much every question honestly and candidly. If there's no questions, then nothing lost. If there are questions, then something gained.
I made shepard's pie for dinner tonight. It took me a whole 5 minutes to get it done, once the beef had cooked (that took a whole 14 minutes, cuz I'm like that) It was a nummy thing. Tomorrow, I don't know what else, but I'm baking another golden loaf of bread, but I'm thinking it will be perfect.
And.. I'm thinking bout going to the river tomorrow, just to sit. I like the spot near the fountain, just pretty darn close to where we all sat at the Ale Haus. It just feels... centered and right. I may go later, like Wednesday, but there's just something about it I like. Wouldja believe I've thought about moving to Jenks, just to be near the place? Pretty odd for me.
I'm also thinking about making pie. Me oh my, there's nothing like pie. Deep dish apple pie, with the crumblies on the top. I can't decide if I want to go with lattice work or if I want to cover it completely and be creative with the top crust. Regardless, I'm in the mood for P.I.E.
Looking forward to seeing my family (that's you guys) come Wednesday. Keep in the mind the simple rules the Darling Ladies (Sherry and Charity) have set down. If Windy or Rainy, it's the Wench we will go. If it's sunny and clear it's the river we're near.
Either way, looking forward to that day, let me told you, boy.
Maybe a cobbler. Maybe even Caramel Dumplings... MmmmmMmmmm good!
That's the news for tonight. OH! Susi, I know you don't have a lot of time to read, but I'm just bout done with the Holmes book you were thinking about borrowing.
Have a good night, kids.

Date: 2008-06-10 04:51 am (UTC)And yes, I'm always have a book going because sometimes that's the only way I can relax. I'm just finishing an odd little book on the Druids of Wales that you might wanna borrow.
YUM, cobbler!

Date: 2008-06-10 04:59 am (UTC)Make sure that Bruce knows that he is loved and cherished just as he is, without any embellishment or accoutrement. It would be cool if he happened to bring his guitar on Wednesday, but I only say that because I don't get enough of it. He, on the other hand, may just wish to hang it up for a while.
Books? I gotta tone of them. What's yer poison? As for Druids... were these the type that were the cannibalistic druids or were these the fuzzy bunny chasing druids?

Date: 2008-06-10 11:56 am (UTC)These were the "fighting Romans any way they could and losing in the end"...not fuzzy bunny chasing at all. But it does a good job of explaining the "lose contact with the earth and you lose everything" stuff. Not cannabalistic at all but definitely sacrificial!
And I think I can talk Bruce into bringing his guitar.

It occurs to me just now that you put up some stuff for me to read that i haven't yet, but it also occurs to me that i'm still operating under a medicated cloud, and that is DEFINITELY not the way to read Wonderful Stories. *feh* I hope i will remember when i'm Clear! *tries to fight off frustration a little longer*
Love you.....
