(no subject)

Anyway, my chum, Tim and I were talking. We want to create writer's round table. More than just the three of us, Sherry, him and me. We're talking bout a place, possibly the Yum Chinese buffet with Mongolian barbque, because they serve food AND beer. Which, of course means that it will require folks to actually show up for discussion. But then again, if nobody else shows up, we'll just continue to talk about books and writing and characters and stuff like that. And of course, be goofy ol' us. Anyone that wants to is free to join. It's not like we've not asked anyone to show up at our pub meetings. Heck, were it up to me, I'd come and personally drive anyone there if they wanted. But unfortunately, it requires time, distance and other Einsteinian concepts.

from the bakery tonight...

Homemade bread - because I was wanting something that didn't cost me anything tonight. It's still baking, but will probably be done in about 1/2 an hour. It was just one of those kinda nights. Me, A.I. on tv, a book to read, the sound of young people running around outside. I had the chance to go out, but decided that price was too high to pay. Not exactly in the mood for folks I don't have much to talk to about. Intellectual stimulation would have been good, but I've always got my mind, and I can always argue both sides of any discussion. It's how I was built.

Oddly the only part of A.I. I didn't like was Dr. Know, the part Robin Williams did the voice for. Aw well, nobody is perfect. I do love his silken and yet velvet chocolate tones, combined with the reedy woodwind of the bassoon.

Other than that, quiet, quiet night.
