Today, or yesterday really, was one of my days off. Wednesday. It was a very good day. I chopped ice off my sidewalk with a broadsword, fell on my tukas and think I got an 8.3 on the olympic scale. I think I bruised my pride, maybe stretched a muscle or two and generally did some good cardio workout beating the ice up. Now I have to put a point back on the sword, but that's a small thing.
I didn't do a whole lot. Paid bills.. Read a cool book called "Who moved my cheese?", which is a bout self-actualization and motivation. Ate home-made meatload and mashed potatoes and watched the Davinci Code again.
At 1:30 am, I caught Paula Poundstone on Bravo. Now, I don't like most women comedians. In fact, I can't stand a lot of them. But Paula Poundstone has a certain fun sort of quality in her routine and her voice. I decided I would watch her instead of Miracle Men. So, here in about 10 minutes, with my belly full of Peanut Butter (guarenteed to give me interesting dreams), I'll be popping off to bed with the realization that it's a good life.
Maybe for Lunch I'll stop at Braums for an ice-cream.
