No, seriously, Thanks! To all you folks, those who know me, those who kind of know me, and even those that don't wanna know me.

Some Specifics:

Thanks to Tim and Sherry, because in my world, they are not separate. They are my chums, they are my partners in laughter and they work very, very hard to keep me grounded. They are my true loves. Or, at lease a couple of them. They are my world in fiction and non.

Thanks to Capi for being a darling pain in the butt sis, who is exactly the sort of person I need at times, to drag me from being so crabby. You make me laugh, you make me go hmmm, and you make me CARE. How cool is that? (that's my favorite phrase of yours, you should know.)

Thanks to Bruce and Susi, who introduced me and gave me adventures that I only dreamed I would have. Were it not for the two of you, I would look at Celtic music, Ren faires and just go, yeah, I guess it's ok for some people... I used to be an incredible stick in the mud. Thank you especially to prove to me that love can be there, and it can endure, and that relationships can be mutually beneficial if worked on together.

Kim, Amber, April... in a lot of ways you are rather interchangeable in my head and in my heart. It's like having the Witches Of Eastwick live and in person.
Kim, you are much more stable than you believe, and much more intelligent than you will ever take credit for. I look forward to the positive moves in your life, and hold a light up for you that you will never see.
Amber... we don't know each other half as well as I wish, but I will tell you this: I have watched and cried and laughed at your various posts. I have cheered when things went very, very well (as they are now) and I have wept when things became so frustrating that you almost gave up. Don't. YOU are worth far more than you ever imagined.
April You have come and joined in the BP&G pub and you just absolutely fit so well. It is likely that we may come to some disagreements in the future, and I also believe that it would be one of those "You have your opinion, I have mine, and that's okay with me. Long as you know you're wrong." sort of things. You have become very dear, and when you fall into your depressions and the lonlies, be assured that I do notice. If it happens, you CAN call me, and maybe we can do something to lighten your mood.

Star, though you more than likely won't see this, I am compelled to write it. You are one of the incredible loves of my life. Magical, stubborn, self reliant, darling and funny. I do not have enough adjectives to give you, but if I did, I would be willing to say that a full 90 percent would be positive. I thank my Universe that we bumped into each other, and yes, it was love at first sight, truly the first and only time. Since I believe it only happens once, it will also be the last time. Blessed be and Thank you for being the you that you are. Perhaps our ships will pass again. Perhaps they will not. Only the unknowable knows. YOU will be in my head and heart forever.

Jenny, as in Jenny of Oz. You know... the good one. Thank you for being such a playful little sister, so intelligent and someone that I could sit and debate and opinionate with forever. It helps that you have a wicked sense of humor, are easy on the eyes to the nth degree, and laugh at my horrible jokes. You are the perfect home for Simon. He made a wise choice.

Charity; Thank you for being a baker. Thank you for the excitement and the joy that comes into my life whenever I see you and whenever I'm with you. Thank you for being you and letting me be your friend. It's a life time job, you know.

Linda, who lives in Eureka. We've been together longer than anyone else other than my brother. I'm thankful you came back from making Universes in teacups and decided to try to be joyous again. Yes, it's a hard road sometimes. But it's a road we choose to walk down.

OH goodness... there are folks I would like to thank for being just the wonderful people they are, the folks that titillate me, that folk that aggravate me at times, and the folks that understand me enough to go "oh, that's just Chester"

I am a VERY Blessed individual, to be as hard to accept as I am, and yet, to be as accepted as I am. I deserve it. WE all do. That doesn't mean anyone should take it for granted. I LOVE all of you guys, and there are some I would lay down my life for. and that's okay. I've got others.

You are my life, my loves, my world. What I write, my stories, my tales and my thoughts... those are all because of you.

My dearest (and only) ChesterChet, (I can't decide which I like better, so in my mind you've become a conglomeration) you are one amazing fellow. It's odd that we've not had much chance to spend time together...like the Universe would implode if we occupied the same square mile for more than a few brief hours a year. It's something I endeavor to change, though, potential black holes be damned. I don't want to look back on my life and see that my contacts with you were livejournal, a few parties, and the passing of no bake baked goods.

I can either look at you three as separate, which adds depth and character to each of you, or I can look at the three of you as a trio, like the Fates, or the Witches. Your energies are entwined enough that I see the flavors of each of you in the other, even when your own shining energy stands out the brightest. I even detected a bit of Pete's in you and I've never met the man. It's just like adding a highlight to an already beautiful painting. It only adds dimension.

We, we lucky ones, to have such friends that are with us, even when they are not... there are truly no words to express the feeling.

I would hope to the seven hells what when you think I'm wrong you darn well WILL tell me to my face! How am I supposed to grow if I have folks that mollycoddle me just because of whatever reason they come up with? I value your thought, m'dear, I value your wisdom, and I value your experience. If you think I'm wrong, tell me, but be prepared to tell me why. Heck, if I'm wrong, then I deserve to know.

Believe me when I say the kindest gentlest soul I know has called me an asshole to my face, argued when I was wrong and proven it to be so. Isn't that so, Sherry?

Oh, don't get me wrong, if you are wrong about something I can research, I'll be sure to let you know. I was eluding to the fact that I would never tell you that your thoughts, opinoins, beliefs or dreams are wrong. I've had too many people do that to me, and it's scarred me.

Now if you try to tell me that there is no Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Great Pumpkin, or Tooth Fairy, well...yeah...There'd be a fight.

OH.... well, okay then. AAAAAAaaaaaannd if anyone ever tells you that Santa Claus isn't real, I'll be there right with you. I've met the personage and Santa Claus is VERY real. Easter Bunny... well, I'll give you that one, never saw him or her (Isn't a bunny a her?) and the Great Pumpkin ditto, though I have had the bejesus scared out of me by something with a big pumpkin head once. The Tooth Fairy still owes me a buck seventy five, the bastard.
