I'm just not sure how THESE two particular people can just drop all barriers so fast with someone they don't know. True, she was random and pretty much couldn't be a plant, but STILL! You spent a lot of time making us see how careful this man is....
If they are playing (and i won't deny, they worded things so as not to give stuff away), then perhaps that needs to stick out just a little more, so the picky reader won't freak out and get all confused. *grin*
Actually, i had contrite typed in, and upgraded it to submissive, cuz that's how it struck me. Something is just.... *almost* where you want it but just a shade too far? Or maybe showing that they are *playing* will help re-color the image?
I've met folks like her, yes. I'm naturally trusting. Neither of your characters is; i already said all that stuff above so i'll shut up now.
I did see that Wells pulled back from Martin.... another aspect of how careful he is, and well played on your part, DOOD!
