Folks, I think I'll have to shelve until I get a better handle on the characters. The story line is all there in my head, waiting for birth, and I can begin the story, tell the middle of the story, tell the end of the story. It's the incidentals... things like personalities that are getting in the way.

I started to write the Bad guy, but he came out too... melodomatically evil. NOT how I want him to be, so he is not fully grown yet. He is just a characture. So back in the box with him.

As for other stories, it's been a rather dry spell, though I've come up with some ideas. None that struck me long enough to stick, however. Just know that I'm not gone, I'm just not completely here.

On a side note, I baked a loaf of fresh white cinnamon bread yesterday (thanks, Capi!), and I finally recieved a vaccum tube for a 1940 Philco I have. It's been there for 3 years, waiting. No. wait.. 5 years. It was humming and chirping along yesterday. It would take a pretty good antenna for it to pick up France, and at this point, I'm just waiting for the right material to appear. It probably already has, I just haven't heard it's call.

I found out that Camphor oil and Baking Soda really does remove moles and skin tags.

Other than that, my life goes along pretty well.

There's still stuff I could gripe about, talk about, do long discertaions that ramble on and on. I just haven't really had the inspiration to do so. Y'alls live (yep, y'alls) is busy enough.

The writing is calling me, in a very faint voice. It'll get louder once my goofy schedule straightens out. Yes, I know that's a crummy excuse. I could still stay up till 3 am writing, if I could stay up that late. I could start writing earlier, like I am here.

Maybe that's what this post is about. It's a dry run to see if the darn concept will fly. Well, we'll see. I can say this. Last night, while the Muskrateers were Pubbing, I heard Pockets say something to Bags, rather excitedly. Mostly it was on the order of "It's not time for the birth yet!"

Till next time.

Camphor oil and baking soda? It seems like that might HURT.

(Where does one even acquire camphor oil?)

I bought my lil bottle at my local dollar store for.. umm.. a dollar. It doesn't hurt a bit. You take the baking soda, mix it with the camphor oil till you get a gum like texture.. not a paste. If it's pastelike, add more baking soda. Apply the paste to a bandage and affix it to the mole or skin tag and leave it there.

Now, to be honest, I worked with it for about two weeks, till I got it just right. To get it to work as expected, I did have to scrape the very top off the mole I was working on.. you know, the crust? But then I applied the mixture to the mole, and in two days the mole shrank till it's just a spot. Cool thing is, the mole below it went away too.

Here's a link: Camphor and Baking soda mole and wart remover (http://www.meridianinstitute.com/echerb/Files/1179-4.html)

The page is pretty darn simple in format, but then, so is the mixture. I found it because I dislike doctors to an extreme. I was doing a search for my wife to find a cure for her moles, and stumbled across this. Not wanting to put her in a situation that was worse than the cure, I tried it on myself. It worked.

Keep in mind, it's not as quick as the freezing, clipping, or whathave you that docs may do. It will take a few days. It may not work in Every case, but with mine, it did. It's inexpensive, has no smell, leaves no bad effects. For less than a penny it reduced 2 moles to the point of not being there any more, and there is enough left in the camphor bottle to fight Moles in the ground (they don't like it either) and apply to about 50 people.

I'm not really sure why it works, but I have a thought on it. Baking soda is a neutralizer for acid, camphor does whatever it does, maybe attacking viruses that cause the moles or warts. *shrug* I dunno.
