Don Knotts, The Incredible Mr. Limpet, passed away on friday. Today, it was Kolchak, Darren McGavin. *sigh* People come, people go..

Don was one of my favorites, and Mr. Limpet was one of my favorite shows ever, ever ever.

Darren was a guy I think was greatly under-rated.. His Kolchak was in the Night Stalker, was one fo my favorite shows because it showed a guy who was every curious, and wasn't afraid to show his cowardly side, specially when leaving was the better part of valor.

yep.. I'll miss them.

y'know, I've heard about Don Knotts about 3 times, but this is the only mention so far of Darren McGavin... I liked him too. But my favorite is the father in Christmas story. :)

Seemed to be the one he was most remembered for. I still go for Kolchak, though.
