joegodaI was asked, by someone that does not know me, what I think, and what I believe. A very large question, and I felt it necessary to reply. The topic had to do with Energy.. specifically Spiritual Energy, but energy in general.. one of my favorite things to talk for hours about. I decided, since I posted long windedly on her journal, I would duplicate the post here. It sort of defines my own particular madness...
The question came from lsettr , to me, a very bright young person, and to me, on a path that matches some of mine. Here's the question, and the answer.
Question:"Well, the natural laws tell us that energy is never lost, but changed. I suppose that is why the idea has merit. It also corresponds to the change of souls from leaving the physical body to changing in the after-life and the return of it in some way.
What do you think? What do you believe?"
Longwinded answer:
What do I think? Oh my.. such a question. I know that energy pervades the entire Universe, both the seen and the unseen. I know that everything radiates energy, and so I believe that our souls start recording and sending our particular life energy from the moment we detach from our host mother. Until then, our energies are combined with the mother's so to be almost identical. Until we have reached a state of being able to survive without the host mother, we are still part of her life energy, a part of HER recording, of HER soul.
This is NOT to say we don't start before we're birthed. I believe that when our particular life ends, when we have quit experiencing and instead return to that which we came from, our recording contains the entirety of our life. This recording, in the form of energy, radiates outward, sometimes unimpeded, sometimes absorbed, sometimes reflected, but radiating regardless.
Now, I believe in Harmonics and Discord. And I believe that energy can cause either a harmonic resonance or a discordant one, by finding an absorbing substance that either vibrates with the same core frequency of the radiant energy, or by finding an absorbing substance that vibrates to the exact opposite core frequency. Those substances, say a new fetus for example, will absorb the radiant energy and begin to absorb the recorded experiences of the previous host. Because this radiant energy contains MULTIPLE frequencies, some parts will harmonized, and some will be canceled out by the opposing frequency. That's why it's possible to pull up past memories that we've never had while we were alive.
It's also why we can hear, feel, experience the feelings of those entities that we vibrate harmonically with. Granted, the communication isn't perfect, because we have our own frequencies, and no two radiant energy signatures are exactly alike. There are those that are extremely close, though, and can communicate as if they were standing next to you.
Harmonics and Discordance is easily observable. Drop a stranger into a group of people. Watch those he or she gravitates toward, and see those that he or she instinctively avoids. Do it with yourself.. are there those that you have known that you are automagically drawn to, and are there those that you avoid like the plague without knowing exactly why in both cases?
Harmonics and Discord. Magic, in my way of thinking, is simply nothing more and nothing less than the manipulation of the Radiant energy that exists.
Belief is not required, and can in fact, hamper. Belief implies, de facto, doubt. Knowing in assuredness will create the situation desired. Belief moves no mountain, but knowing in assuredness always will.
It's just a darn good thing not a whole lot of folks truely KNOW.. and I can't think of a single person that truely does. Course, if they do, they aren't talking, at least to me.
As to what I, myself KNOW? I KNOW that this is an incredible world I live in, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I KNOW that there are lessons I have to learn, and I suspect that any change I make would affect the pattern of learning I need.
