Today is Shannon's birthday!

Yep. It is! There will be cake served at the pub tonight. It's a chocolate fudge three layer with chocolate fudge icing, so if chocolate ain't your thing or you're wheat or egg intolerant, my apologies in advance.

For those of you who don't know Shannon, she's the lady I've been spending a lot of time with, and who puts up with the idiosyncrasies of mine that she's seen so far.

today on her birthday, she is at the medical clinic getting a shot or something. Between last night and this morning, she spiked a fever of 101.7.

Yep, she got the cake first. She said it was Awesome! The doc told her she had bronchitis and gave her 170 dollars worth of medicine. Last time I was diagnosed with Bronchitis, the doc told me to gargle with salt water and take ibuprofen and sudafed. Worked for me and was a whole lot cheaper. Made me decide to NOT go to the doctor unless he or she drives a car older than me and has no kids.
