Bye Mom

Today, Dey put my momma in de col' col' groun'. Dey put my momma deep, deep down. My momma, she no goin' to dat dark, dark place. My momma, she a goin' way up in outer space. I will sorely miss my momma, I will I will, and I cries in my missing her.

I was just thinking, Doc, that I probably sounded kinda harsh in my reply. I think, though, that you've probably read "The Razor's Edge" by W. Somerset Maugham.

She was a remarkable woman, in truth. Raising 4 boys, coming from the backhills of Indiana, when there was still moonshinin' being done, being a cataleptic and pretty darn smart and still teaching her sons to laugh and sing.

Yep... my mom was a wonder, for sure and true.
