Okie doke.
I'm working on the theory of brain displacement. The hypothesis is that the adult human brain can actually be displaced by The Dumb. As in today... where I almost set my apartment on fire because I was heating a skillet in preparation to washing it (Warm grease is easier to clean) but got distracted by this stupid Origami Bat I've been trying to make.
Yes... I caught it before it was icky and burning. The smoke was kinda irritating, tho.
Then! I was boiling some egg noodles for a noodle salad and got distracted again. Mush does not make a good salad, but it does make a good slush ball.
So... today, I have been afflicted with The Dumbs.

Today, I was just darned distracted by... everything. I made a decision, tossed on the ceiling fan and went for a walk. I got oil for the car, shortbread cookies for me and a bit of PB&J for later when that PB&J addiction kicks in.
Normally, Doc, I'm very safe. Today was just... odd.
