Women with birds...

There are pictures of Women with Birds! At the Wenches last Wednesday, Charity and Teresa both lent their heads and hair as perches for the two kestrals that Bob brought.

Here they is:

Charity and Chase!

Teresa and the un-named Kestral

For capi and dial-up folks... the images are kinda large in full size and may load fairly slowly. It was taken with my cell phone, but darned if they didn't turn out ok doke.

Well, to be honest, I think Charity was more talkative than we were. I believe that the King was saying that if it was a weekly thing, he might be able to go for it. I don't know about an intermittent performance date. AND I don't know if there would be any pay involved for QG. I think QG's Business manager should give him a call for details.

Well, getting Becky and Nikki down for a weeknight would be hard, Nikki especially, but Amber might be able to be talked into an isolated gig this simmer.

As for pay, that's negotiable. I can speak with him next time we're there and see if we can't discuss it. I surely wouldn't expect him to pay us until after he's heard us. A little good will along those lines is worth a lot.

I kiddingly mentioned getting drinks and food half priced. He shot back that it might be a doable thing. I told him that I was kidding, and he said that he wasn't. Or maybe it was his partner that said that. His SO was there, I think. A fairly pretty red haired woman shared his table. He remembered the night the server came into the kitchen and told him that the Queen was there. He said his first reaction was "Who the hell?" That was the night you and I drove through the rain and beat everyone else there.

It might turn out to be an interesting thing, you folks playing there. Might be good for everyone's mutual benefit, even if you and Bruce just do a casual duet sort of thing. I had considered asking you to have him bring his guitar anyway.

Somehow, I can see our group breaking out into spontaneous song, whether it be in the Wench, or out on the Riverwalk. Tho... I think doing it out on the Riverwalk would be very cool, once it stops being so bloody hot.

Sounds like an idea with a great deal of promise. Perhaps we can get there this next Wednesday evening again and discuss a bit more.

I think that the evening of the mutual birthday dinner on the Riverwalk might be a great time for some after dinner music. Ya know, ABob has a lovely voice as well...

ABob is just lovely, from the soul out. A quality a great many of my loved family has.

I couldn't agree more

*squish*

BTW, I was describing you three to some of my other loved family at WH; hoping that I can introduce you all to one another in a couple weeks!

hmmm. I thought he said the possibility of discounted beverages was if it were a weekly thing. I don't remember it being about the singing and birds n stuff at all.

That could very well be. You know how it is when I have my mind on something else. I don't like this time of year... to many crossover emotions.
