Not exactly a rejection...

First, I checked the weather. Today was the day I was to travel to Indiana, and I may yet start on the road. But see, there's this big red swatch of extreme potential severe weather allll along the entire route. Driving through torrential rain and hail does not a pleasure trip make. We'll see how the day pans out. Right now, the trip is on hold pending weather I want to drive through.

Second, one of the places I submitted Bags and Pockets to responded. Crossed Genres, an online mag what was looking for a novel to serialize wrote back saying, '"Bags 'n' Pockets" is intriguing. We're not "sold" yet, but we'd like to see more. Please send the entire novel to this email address for us to read and consider.' Not exactly a rejection, not exactly an acceptance. The whole novel? Heck, it's on LJ so what the heck. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Third, if I delay, then I can reformat this script I've been working on so I resubmit it, as well.

There's a reason for everything.
