Interesting... I am watching C-span and there is, before Congress, a procedural vote being taken on the articles of impeachment against Pres Bush. The house just voted to over-ride Bush's veto to stop cuts to Medicare. I see a tremendous lack of confidence in our commander in chief, something which shouldn't surprise anyone.

The article of impeachment is because our Pres is accused of misleading congress in authorizing military operations in Iraq. If passed, then the measure then goes to the Judiciary level.

I don't know if this is a good thing or not. I tend to stay out of politics, primary because human beings are just strange animals anyway... but somehow, this seems important, if not belated.
