Really BAD Science fiction
Feb. 3rd, 2007 09:05 pmI got a dvd player for free, because it didn't work. I love things that don't work. Generally, it's a fairly simply process to get them up and running again. This lil dvd player had a lazer out of time. I reached in, gave it a good tug, put it back in proper fiddle and viola, a dvd player. It cost me 9 bucks because I had to buy an A/V cable. The one I had seemed to go somewhere else.
So... what did I watch on my very first dvd at home? I watched Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet, a truly terrible movie, though not as bad as The Creeping Terror
It was worth it, though. There is a pretty cool robot. Absolutely NOT streamlined, and absolutely NOT from "I Robot". The robot's name is John. Gotta love it.
Oh yeah. There is water and robots and space ships and really bad dubbing for some of the actors that can't speak english and Dinosaurs!
And other than that, life has been very life like.
