He stands, quietly, on the Nightside Cliff, which separates that Which Is from that Which is Beyond. He watches the valley, far below, as lights wink on and lights wink off. His long thin hands are clasped behind his back, and his heavy brow is furrowed with concentration. He is watching and does not want to miss a thing.
