For me, it's like Chet. Chet is what my mother calls me, and some folks that just find it comfortable. Generally friends and loved ones. Actually, all my friends are my loved ones. Hmmm. Bill asked me if Chet was the right thing to call me. Of course it is. I've even answered to the name Hector once. I believe that the name isn't as important as the intent. At least when it applies to me. I can feel when someone it speaking to me. For other folks... yes, I prefer to have the name right, specially when I likes 'em. Thank you for being as bright as you are! I love your knowledge of stuffs of the past!
But for me to call myself Chet is just plain wrong.
